About Nodrya

Nodrya is a Markdown-first personal knowledge platform built around a simple idea: your knowledge becomes more useful when it is organized, connected, and available where you need it.

What Nodrya does today

You can create Markdown notes, organize them with nested categories and tags, set priorities and due dates, archive or trash notes, attach files, and import existing Markdown or Obsidian-style archives.

Where we're going

Upcoming features are focused on turning a collection of individual notes into connected knowledge. The goal is a simple progression: capture → organize → enrich → connect → retrieve.

Rather than requiring every relationship to be created manually, Nodrya is being designed to help surface connections that may otherwise be easy to miss—including ideas written months apart or stored in different categories.

You control what AI can access

AI-assisted features and MCP access are being designed around explicit user control. Client-side encrypted note content cannot be meaningfully enriched or supplied to external AI systems without first being decrypted in an authorized context. The intent is to let users decide what knowledge is eligible for AI processing and retrieval rather than treating every note as AI-readable by default.

Privacy-minded by design

Notes are stored in your account so they can be available across sessions and devices. For notes you choose to encrypt, encryption and decryption happen in your browser using AES-256-GCM. The encryption passphrase is not sent to the server.

Encryption applies to protected note content. Metadata needed for organization and filtering may remain stored in readable form. If you lose an encryption passphrase, Nodrya cannot recover the encrypted content.

Beta service

Nodrya is currently offered as a beta service at www.nodrya.com. Upcoming features described here are under development and may change as they are designed and tested. See the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for details.
